So what have you guys been using?
I see tons of stuff in the auto stores, but just can't decide and I want the best working but yet the easiest.
This is really for my wifes black Jeep. Its has lots of swirl marks and a couple clearcoat scratches.
Preferably i'd like to not use a mechanical buffer, I have a tendancy of over doing things causing more damage
Thanks for any advice!

get some 3m rubbing compound and use a foam pad then go over it with a glaze with a black foam pad i own a bodyshop works great if the scratches are deep use some 2000 grit paper first

the only way to get rid of scratches and swirl marks is by buffing with a buffer

I've had really good results using the Quixx scratch repair kit. It is about $15-$20 at auto parts stores. Wal-Mart here used to carry it but I haven't seen it there lately.
