anyone rolling 37's with a 4.6 engine?

right now my truck is pretty damm slow to say the least ,i would love to run 37's but im thinking that 37's will open a can of worms.I would probably need to get a tuner and rear gears, exhaust (wich i want anyways) to make up for the 37's ,seems super expensive to me is all ,how do u guys like the 4.6 pushing 37's?

With the right gearing I don't see why you'd have a problem. The 4.6 is going to be under-powered either way.

The 4.6l is a slug no matter which way you add the numbers.

Even the 5.4l is a slug to some.

The 4.2l is a laughing stock of the crowd (unless it is stick shift, but even then...)

There is a guy with a good lookin blue single cab running 37's with the 4.6 on here. I have a 4.6 and my 37's go on Tuesday. I'm doing 4.88 gears at the same time. Exhaust/intake/tune won't be happening for quite awhile.

dirt_bound is the dood, here is his gallery: https://www.f150online.com/galleries...cfm?gnum=11284

4.6 and 37's

4.88's and the edge were my saving grace. I think it has a decent amount of power.
