CB Radio

I know... someone slap me... I didn't snap no pictures yet...

However, I got a RadioShock CB radio and a radio shack black 2' fiberglass antenna, and about 20' of coax with PL-259 connectors.

I hooked it all up, and it works. I was talking to various truck drivers along the I-90 corridor... in my garage.

I mounted the CB radio to the glovebox with some screws.

Clean install and it looks totally awesome. Not to mention, tuning it was quick and easy with my SWR meter right at hand.

I need to get a fiberglass 2m/440cm that is a 5/8 wavelength antenna for my ham radio and do it up the same way I did my CB radio.

I have my CB and PA just sitting in the garage, i need to go buy the antenna and put it all in.

Where did you run the antenna wire into the cab?
