Question Line of fire opinions/help...

First off i searched.

So I bought/installed a LED 3rd brake light, and LED bulbs for the tails and a Line of Fire but since its cold I'm waiting for install it but in the meantime I'm debating whether i should install it or not.

I know there is some people that don't like them but i would like to know why?

Also if you have it could you post a picture and/or list explicit direction?

I would say, no, don't install it. IMO it's too much lighting, and all the trucks I see around here that have them are way over done as it is. That's probably the main reason.

I agree 100%.

It seems to me the Line of fire tends to be a southern thing if you ask me. You don't see many of them up here in the Northeast, and when you do... they are on some stupid chromed-out chevy or dodge.

They fall into rice factor for me.

I would say install it. The only one it hurts is you and whoever is behind you and for whatever reason doesn't see you hitting your brakes. Remember Safety 1st. Not sure if you have a flareside or not but you could always put the shorter (48" I think) instead of the 60".

Install it, as long as your truck isn't "riced out" how some people like to put it. I personally have one and I love it and get compliments on it all the time, maybe because mine isn't overpowering like hmfic said....my taillights are tinted pretty dark so it acts as a backup and keeps me from getting tickets, plus I don't need anyone rear-ending me saying the couldn't see my brake lights due to the tint.

I have it and love it. The key is not to go crazy on your truck with a ton of other "AutoZone Mods". Don't buy cheap taillights, chrome handles everywhere, and sunvisors over your windows and you will be fine.

exactly...............btw go Recon, good quality stuff unlike the "Autozone/Pepboys/Checker" crap that usually have a few burnt out LEDs within a couple of weeks and look like hell

It does crack me up whe I see an old POS truck with the Line of Fire. At least on the newer models it looks like it is supposed to be there.
