Line-x Tool Box

I am looking at getting a low profile tool box for my truck. Its on 07 F150 King Ranch. How do you think it would look if i had it sprayed to match the trim? Or would something else look better?

sweet truck!

i think just keeping the tool box chrome will look great. it will go along with the wheels and running boards.

my girlfriend would like me to add to this post that she agrees with the chrome

Or get a chest-style box like mine. Then you won't even see it.

I have a short bed XLT screw. Do they make a smaller "chest-style" box. How / where is the box secured to the bed?

I think both would good, especially a chest style box with Line-X. I just don't like the over-the-rails boxes on the new style F150s because the bed is already so tall, and the back window comes down to the top of the bed already.

They don't make a smaller one to my knowledge. Not the same style as mine at least. You can just get a plain old rectangular box to stick in the bed. The box is attached with a couple of bolts to the back of the bed wall. If it's bed space you're worried about, have no fear.
Look here.
