Suggestions needed

I've been on this site for a while, but this is my first time posting. I bought my truck in December and just now getting around to taking pics. I'm looking for a few suggestions on the following:

Wheels - I'm debating on the Harleys or Saleens. I'm leaning towards Harleys since I have almost no chrome on the truck, but I'm also open to other suggestions.

Shackles - I'm thinking a 2" or 3" drop shackle in the rear. Anyone have any experience with these, or are they a bad idea?

Stripes - I added a few weeks ago. Should I keep them or lose 'em.

I like a clean sporty look, so these will most likely be my only exterior mods other than the window tinting I'm getting this weekend.

Thanks in advance for your help. I hope these pics work.

I like the stripes actually

2" shackles are great fairly cheap mod. or you can remove your 1" block and your overload springs for about the same result.

x's 2

I do like those stripes!!

A buddy of mine went with the lowering shackles, he had to do some grinding somewhere to keep them from rubbing against something. I'll have to ask him what it was. He ended up ditching the shackles and taking out the 1" block, and leaving the rear slightly higher than the front, so it wouldnt sag with any light load in the rear.

Beautiful Truck, and I love those grill's!

the 22" harleys would look good on your truck. where did you get the stripes? did you put them on yourself? im thinking of putting stripes on my truck and your pics may have made up my mind, thanks.

You should bring the rear down level with the front, leave the stripes and throw on some Harley 22's with a small tire, not the factory Goodyear's.

I think stripes look good on the op's truck, but your going for the all black theme. I don't think it would look good.

man drop that thing 2/3 on some aftermarket six spoke gunmetal 22's to match the stripes and you'll have a REALLY clean ride.... I think you can get the 22s they used on the carol shelbey gt150. those come in a dark silver IiRC. that thing is begging for aibeglass tonneau and sticker removal

Thanks for all the help. I had the guy that does the lettering on my work trucks cut a roll of the vinyl into 12" strips and I installed them myself. I paid him $35 for the roll and figured if it didn't look right I could rip them back off.

I like it. Alot ppl know me for having great taste. What I would do next is ditch the factory wheels. You need a nice deep dish rim with some grey in it. The ones posted above will not do the trick, keep looking.

If you're looking for a really clean look I'd drop the plate on the front, get rid of the cardinal hitch cover (it's already on your license plate, no?)

Overall it looks great man. Stripes really set it off. I'd definitely go with the wheels styx recommended. Would look great with the stripes.

styx - great chop man
