I'd measure it anyway. Just in case you happen to be whipping into a parking garage somewhere like the airport or something. Good thing to know your clearance than to find out the hard way.

Yea, PI wasn't too bad. MCT was by far and wide much much worse. But it was sickening to look across the water and know that while your getting your butt handed to you, some folks over there are living up the high life. And then you wonder....why the hell aren't these sand fleas biting them?

I do have to admit though, the area was beautiful and I could see how being there under a different setting would totally change my outlook.

Now...where's those kayak pics darn it! That's something I've always wanted to give a try.

That's an odd statement...I feel lucky that my truck gets to be parked inside my garage every night...to each his own, I guess.

And no...I didn't get to see much of the "Hotel Room"

I bet the kayaking there is very nice though. I can now see the reason for the racks and can't wait to see them loaded up. You've got to post pictures.
My bad. My brother in law spent some time on Paris Island. He lucked out and did his time during the winter so he got to miss out on the sand fleas.

Yep yep old oyster factory. and if you were here on your honey moon you should come back here to visit because if you saw anything but the inside of your hotel room i will be disappointed in you
Ive been several times before. Love it everytime. Last time was a little better than the rest.

Can you get me anymore info on the roof-rack? I have been looking all around, but can't figure out which part I need first. If you have part numbers and an overall cost of the set-up that would be appreicated. Needless to say....looks GREAT.

How does it mount over the integrated rain gutter?

I have a new to me Craigslist Yakima rack that I mounted Friday. It took 3 mountain bikes camping with us this weekend. It clamps over the rubber molding (learned that form another user on here!) and it held the bikes to 90mph. I was concerned about air noise inside and compromising the rain seal. Well the air noise wasn't noticeably higher (80+ mph is enough road/wind noise anyway) but it dumped about 3" of rain last night and the passenger rear floorboard is damp.. I'm sure its the Yakima because I've sealed my third brake light when I did sat radio. Does the Thule mount over the rubber or under? Have you checked if its weather-tight?

I'm guessing mine will require some fiddling w/ the mount to change the angle of attack and improve the seal, I was just curious if there was a different solution.

What is the model numbers on the Thule Rack? I want one for my 2008 Lariat to carry my fishing rods. I have searched online and can't fine the model that will fit using the Thule vehicle fitter.

I love roof Racks. I've got one mounted on my cap. I've got mounts for two bikes and a basket case to put whatever. I want to mount a HID light up there too but haven't gotten around to it.

Your truck looks sweet!
