Happened to me a couple months ago too. Driving to and back from Ft. Lauderdale. I asked when I came back and didn't find anything either. Patshea said it happened to him too. Haven't seen it since.

Did you think about checking your brake fluid?

If not, then it might be a ABS Tone Ring on one of the axles.

A tone ring is something like this... it's not a F150's... but rather a Bronco's... but you can get the general idea... it looks like a gear, if you know what I mean...

Well... it's sometimes hard to tell what's wrong... it could either be a bad sensor or else the tone ring is chipped, dented, or cracked. The cracked ones are sometimes a PITA, because it's hard to tell which one it is if it has a hairline fracture.

Anything ABS is sometimes a mystical magical thing... at least from my experiences... unless I can actually see what's wrong.

Most of the time its one of those three; (1) Low brake fluid, (2) Dented, Chipped, Cracked tone ring, or (3) Sensor failure...

Sometimes the hardest thing to do is fine which side of the truck it is on. It's a 25% chance on one of the four corners of the truck.

No, tone rings are separate.

Hope this helps... I'm tired, and I'm off to bed.

Could be the fluid level or maybe one of the wheel speed sensors went bad.

My ABS light came on intermittently so I mentioned it to the dealership when the truck was in for something else. They replaced my ABS cluster rather than screw with it.
