The time has come *UPDATE*

Well guys, I love my f150, but the time has come to sell it. Ive made it look exactly how I want and done everything that I want to it. I will list it in autotrader and put it up on ebay for a week with a buy it now. I just wanted to thank all you guys on here for all your advice and having some really awesome looking trucks to look at!!! As of right now, the two cars Im looking at are a Dodge Charger Srt-8 and a Chrysler 300C Srt-8. Ya i know, they arent Fords but, cant argue with 425 hp.

give it a year man. the Challenger and the Camaro are coming back out, and they both are going to be more sports car than a Charger.

also, the GT 500KR's are still around. their initial price tag made them just sit on lots. I saw 2 of them in December for under $45k

So your truck is hardly two years old and you're already trade'n it in?

Let me guess, fuel prices?

People need to do what ever makes them happy, BUT part of the huge problem with that philosophy is that few have enough common sense to live within their means. Credit is an absolute joke these days and most of the individuals in this country have a hard time making ANY sort of personal sacrifice AT ALL. They want the cool cars/trucks, video games, TV’s….but a majority of them are in debt up to their proverbial ***. Take for instance the millions of half-wits who chose an ARM and are now demanding the government to fix it. Absolute BS. You make your bed (financial decisions) you sleep in it. Perhaps these belly-achers should think about downgrading their cars to something which might allow them to refinance the house so they can keep it. Maybe sell that 360 and PS3, oh and the 60”TV perhaps. Not a chance. They’re going to jump on the bandwagon and demand the government bail their imbecilic ***’s out. OOPs, a bit off topic……

Great choice in vehicle.

PS: I know there are a handful of families that got an ARM and have had some financial hardships along the way. This is unfortunate and they deserve to ask for some relief provided they have already tried to get rid of some of the non-essentials.

Haha, you guys crack me up. Im not a fan of the present mustang. I like the 99-04s but Im wanting a new car. I want a 4 door car. the charger and 300c both are 4 doors and look good in my opinion plus have some hp. Im not in debt nor did i have to take out a loan for my truck. I will do the same with the new car i buy. its not about gas prices, i could care less. i just want something thats faster and i dont have to have a bunch of room to park and can drive around cities more easily.

Totally of topic.....But I agree.

There eyes are bigger then there wallets. If you can't afford it, don't buy it.

Sorry to lose a Ford Fraternity brother. Good luck with your new ride.

There seems to be a trend here with these lifted trucks being sold after a couple of years. Can't be gas mileage because these guys aren't buying a Ranger or Focus.

Why exactly did you purchase an F150?

My neighbor has an SRT8 300 and an SRT10 Ram (in addition to his SC'ed 92 Vette). The SRT10 looks extremely CHEAP on the inside. The 300 on the other hand is absolutely beautiful! Inside and out. It runs low 13's too

I like my f150 and really dont want to sell it, just that im moving in with my gf soon while she finishes her masters, then off to real world. Shes short (like 5'1) and hates getting in it. its just not a practical right now. ive drive the 300 and its amazing and looks really classy. my truck doesnt give off the persona of a mature person and isnt exactly inconspicuous and wont be the best vehicle for my job.

Spoken like a true man.

You too are one of the few in this completely efed-up country. Glad to hear you're part of the solution and not the problem!

WOW! All this from someone hardly out of HS! Sounds like you are making all the right moves VERY EARLY on. Something MANY of us probably wish we would have done/could have done around that time frame.
