everyone big problem on my part driving me insane!!!

i have the 6 disc in dash

and putting a cd in the other day...somehow got jammed and stuck.

now it only plays radio
whenever i try to go to cd it says "CD ERROR"
and doesnt do antyhing.

sometimes it will say "Initializing" and sound like its trying to suck in or spit the disk out...then jsut goes back to "CD ERROR"

HOW DO I FIX IT!

 

I had that problems on my 05 focus a while back. I just disconnected my battery for about a minutes and hooked it back up. After that it worked fine for a while but then started doing it again. Try it, it'll probably fix it for now.

Edit: Now what I remember I just disconnected one of the cable so the battery. I think it was the right one, it controls the radio and will reset all the stations and cd player. Look at your manual to see which cable it is. Tell if it fixes it.

 

If your warranty is still good, you can take it back to the dealership and they will replace your radio. takes about a week though for the new one to come in....if that helps.

 

y dont u take a pic of that radio and we'll tell u wats wrong with it, hahaha.

 

When it says initialiizing start banging on the dash. It will cycle through all the cd's. You might have to keep banging untill the cycle is done. Trust me I dealt with this for 1 year before I replaced the HU.
