Anyone here ever just replace their stock muffler with a Bassani BX4810 4x8x16 muffler to the stock tailpipe on a 4.6 ?

If so do u have any sound clips and how do you like it.....

I have a the SISO kit for my 04 SuperCrew in the stainless. The muffler is a bit on the larger side than my current roush off-road side exit. I was thinking of getting the smallest muffler that bassani makes to replace the one that came with my kit, then maybe the roush would come off. I am guessing that the muffler you are interested in would be louder than the one that I came with my bassani kit, which happens to be just right in terms of sound. Although my Roush off road side exit is way more agressive than the bassani.

Yes, usually the smaller the muffler the louder it tends to be. Why did you change out the Bassani ?.......

I swaped out the bassani for the roush due to the larger size muffler that came with my bassani kit. I just wanted something a bit more agressive, the bassani kit I purchased was a bit tame, because of the larger muffler. I actually prefer the SISO instead of the duel side exit (Lightning type), however the sound I got from the roush kit won me over. The roush also gave me more noticable power over the bassani, this because more apparent when going up step grades (w/o overdrive). If you ever get that smaller bassani muffler you should post clips, I'm sure it will sound awesome. I would be very interested in putting back my bassani kit if the sound is right.
