Can you explain the TPS a little better? Did you buy a new set of 4 tire pressure sensors for your new wheels? By the way, the truck looks fantastic

No I havent but I did take a before pic of the receiver. I will take an after shot tomorrow. Just guessing but since I only changed the tires on the rear and the front now sits higher I'm guessing its only about a half inch higher.

First I need to say that my service guy at America's Tire has been great. I have used him for a few years with a few different vehicles and never had a problem. The following was a legitimate mistake.

When I first had the tires and wheels put on I didnt know I had the TPS. It wasnt listed on the window sticker and without the stem sensors you really cant tell. I didnt realize I had the sytem until I had driven about 45 miles and the light came on. I had to go back to America's Tire for the new wheel retorque at 100 miles so I thought I would bring it up when I got back there.

So I got back to America's and let him know about the idiot light. He felt bad and worked out what I thought was a good price for the set. All he had to do was place the order today and I would come in later in the week for install.

So I had a message to call America's when I got home today. I call him and find out first that the price was a mistake and they are $70 each. Second is they are on backorder for 1 to 2 months. Price sucks but not really a big deal. The biggest thing is I want everything done now. So Im taking my stock wheels back this weekend to have the sensors pulled and reinstalled with new bands on the new wheels.

Even if I had known they were on the stock wheels I most likely would have left them and ordered the new sensors. My plan the whole time was to keep all stock items and reinstall if I ever had a warranty issue. Now I really dont care. Im pulling the sensors and most likely selling the stock wheels.

Long winded but I think I answered your question.

Thanks again to all for the compliments.

Yeah it would be interesting to see where you sit after a trailer is hooked up.
