I bought my STX three weeks ago today. Last weekend I installed the 2.5" AS leveling kit and then took over to have a set of 33x12.50 Cooper STT's installed. After that I ran over and had a new Magnaflow muffler welded in. I'm loving my new STX!!

Before and after shots.

After

Thanks for the nice comment on my truck. I love that darn truck and it's the nicest one I have ever owned.

I have ran mud tires for the last several years, muds are the usually the only kind of tire I will run because of where I need to go sometimes. I have owned a lot of the big name mud tires on the market and I must say that these Cooper STT's are the very most quietest mud tires I have EVER ran. They are so quiet that you barely even hear them. They are every bit as quiet as my BFG AT's.

I think he was referring to GiorgioF150's truck.

I think your confused. Read it again, specifically where he said "and that is a great looking Scab, I lean towards the Screws, but that is one convincing argument for the other style" underneath the pic of my truck that he quoted.

Nice looking trucks in this thread, crap, now I got to get off my ars and detail mine. Trouble is the weather is supposed to go to "winter conditions" tomorrow. So I guess instead and wait. Poor excuse I know.

Welcome to the site.

Are y'all required to have front plates in TX? Get rid it if not. It's the best kind of mod...Free.

if you have a 2007, i think you might have 18's. i think the brake calipers changed in 06 to not allow 17's at all, if you have 17's than nevermind... just about any 33" MT or AT can fit on factory rims, there are a few that ask for more rim width though, i dont think any 35" MT tire "allows" you to mount on a 7.5" wide rim (oem wheels), but that doesnt stop alot of people here, and ive yet to here anything bad about it. i installed an autospring 2" kit on my neighbors 2005 black 4x4 stx supercab flareside, and she put on 33" terra grapplers on stock 17's, it was awesome looking, only the stx's can be all black. but ya need 2.5" at least to clear 35" great look IMO, not so great on the cv's though

Thanks yall for all the feedback. I just got back from discount tire. I got a bad **** set of 285 70 17 BFG Mud Terrain KM2s. Should have em in a few days. I also just ordered my 2.5 Top gun costomizers leveling kit, 80 bucks shipped! When i was at discount tire the guy that sold me the tires introduced me to his buddy who puts suspension and leveling kits on for fun!!! So i got a guy to put it on for less than 100 bucks!!! Does anyone know if i dont use my dealership or a "auto shop" to put this leveling kit on, does it void any part of my warranty? Plus i would like to know, since im goin bigger on tires, what kind of mods could help my gas mileage, HP out?
