Need opinions about my ride (XLT to FX2)

Im turning my xlt into the FX2 still a lot to do, check my gallery what I've done so far let me know what you think i have the wheels but not the tires i wanna go a little bigger on them any recommendatios?
also i like to replace the jump seat for the flowthru console I've seen some threads where you can install one without replacing the whole dash by just doing alittle modification to fill the gap, (well I need to find the console first)
Im open to any ideas and if you have pics of your ride that have been gone thru the same process please share. Thanks

Is the cluster a direct swap with the XLT or do you need to program it like the Lariet.

I hear the cluster of the Lariat needs to be reprogrammed into the xlt and also you need to connect some extra wires into the plug so all the features that the lariat cluster show on the little screen can work on the xlt. the fx2 and fx4 cluster (you know they are the same looking) they need to be reprogrammed into the xlt, otherwise your truck wont run, no other wiring is nessesary.... (reprogrammed by dealership, cost: 100bucks) I got mine on ebay (150dlls) I got a little lucky about the miles, they were kinda close to my truck's miles otherwise they have to sent it somewhere else to reprograme the miles, I read about this around the forums they say thats a pain in the a$$

I am waiting for my xlt cluster I ordered to get here and I hope my dealer here doesnt give me crap about the cluster needing to be reprogrammed.

My question is does the XLT cluster need to be reprogrammed to my truck??

Right now ALL I have is the basic MPH cluster and am swapping it out for the xlt cluster.

I hate to say it, and I hope Im wrong, but.... yes, you gotta take the xlt and your truck to the stealership to get it reprogrammed, unless from where you're getting it they tell you is a plug and play cluster by reading around the forums i find that sometimes who ever is selling a cluster they do something to the cluster to make it plug and play. check around. keyword search: Cluster
