Hehe...that would be fun. You can get on the beach in Grayton if you have a Walton County beach permit. Thats about as close as you're gonna get.

I hope to make it down to the Outer Banks this year and do a little driving on the beach.

 

Same here that would be a blast! I just want to be able to go hang out on the beach on a nice calm day and then be able to just get in the truck and drive off Ahh that's the life

 

We should set a date for OBX. Ive been going there alot lately. Infact, Ill be down there on the 24th just to play on the beach. I went there last sunday after a huge windstorm. alot of the trails are completely gone and covered with about 5.5' of deep soft sand. I was very thankful for 4lo and aired out tires.

 

The sand at Daytona is a lot better IMO.

 

Agreed...its a lot whiter and its not as coarse.

 

My other option is Florida because I can stay with grandparents in Melbourne. Where are there 4x4 beaches in Florida? Any permits needed? Thanks!

The beach at Daytona isn't a 4x4 beah per say. But you can drive on it, just dont get crazy. Its 5 dollars to get on the beach. Man I love that beach. The sand is like no other sand.
