Talking my latest new mods

well i have been playing around with the truck a little lately and here are the pics. this is a light bar a buddy of mine built out of stainless for me. right now i have some cheapo lights but they will be upgraded later.

here are the light and radio switch. the center switch turns on the stereo and the voltage gauge i have mounted in my pod so i dont have to listen to the door chime.

here is my dashhawk in the edge pod.

didnt like the silver/chrome clear coat of the factory running boards.

more below

here is a side shot of the light bar. i am going to remove it and drill holes in it for the wiring. then run the wiring in loom right below the bars on the sides.

here are the flexalite fans i just put in.

i need to get a better pic of the controller. it is the dc control unit. i also have two relays wired in with it. one relay controls the a/c signal which i can shut off when on the freeway. the other is one that allows me to turn them on at 100% via a switch.

here is the on/off/on switch that controls the efan relays.

here is a pic of the red top with stinger terminals. also the fuse for the stereo system that i made a small bracket for.

this shows the bracket i made for the new tranny cooler i have mounted. it is the tru cool max tranny cooler. i made some three inch spacers on the bottom to move it down more in front of the whole in the bumper to get more air in it. when i made and installed the spacers it was a little flemsy. this took care of it.

Good work!

Mind showing a picture of the running boards you did have? Those black came on my truck and took them off...I hated the way they looked on there, and would like to find something different.

What did you use to get the paint to stick to the running boards?

yes it is a flexalite 270 kit. i got it for right at 495.00 shipped. the dc controller cost 149.00. i sanded and cleaned the running boards with thinner and then painted them. i use the dashhawk for extra gauges. i think i have six screens set up with different info on them.
