I orginally had 15% and they matched pretty well. But I have heard anywhere from 15-20% matches the rears. The 35% is going to look light vs the rear windows, but I have to stay legal to avoid another ticket.

I made the appt, and the guy that tinted my windows the first time hooked me up since I had done previous business with them. $50.00 to get them retinted didn't sound two bad compared to the $120.00 they want locally.

35% is the legal limit in KY. But I went with 15%. There are ppl that go with limo tint and the police here have zero issues with it. Just make sure you roll down all your windows if you get pulled over to make the cop more safe.

That was what the cop was giving me a hard time about. The potential of me pulling a weapon on him. ( I had my windows down when pulled over) I think that they should just make it a law to roll your windows down once pulled over. Personally I believe he pulled me over becuase I was a kid (22 years old) and have a nicer than average truck.

I agree 100%. I just don't understand how police officers are allowed to have illegal tint.

I also added a layer of 50% over my back glass, it helped.

Don't worry about the tix in MO, as long as you can afford them, they don't count as moving violations therefore don't affect your record.
I know, I used to have a Z28 back in 98 that was completely blacked out & got a bunch of them, until I went & got a prescription sticker, then they changed the law and allowed tinted windows...
I got my truck from my buddy that is a cop, & he went w/ 20% on purpose cause as long as it isn't completely blacked out, he said it wasn't worth messing w/. But then too, they are all different...
It should look ok as long as the back windows are the same or darker than the front windows.
The only problem I have w/ window tint on my truck is when I'm hunting..

I have 5% sides and back. TX is 35% but from what I hear its a non moving violation, so I would have to be pulled over for speeding or something.
For you guys with the front tinted. Do you have any pics from the inside looking out thru it and from the outside looking in up close?
