Dumps are fine, just have it aim out from under the truck with some turndowns so that you reduce drone in the cab.

sorry to hear your getting Crapmasters, but you gotta do what you gotta do.

get the tips method. it'll cost a little bit more $$, but the dump method causes the underside to get really dirty from the exhaust. also, as mentioned, the dump method can cause more noise (less pipe to modulate the tone).

^ that sounds dirty, but I swear it ain't

i have the FM ran out the back with dual tips and it can still get pretty loud in the cab. i wouldnt dump a flowmaster, you're gonna kick yourself in the *** on the highway if you do.

Im happy with my flowmaster. I kept my stock pipe and tip and just welded it in the stock location. I was on a budget so it was alot cheaper than any catback out there

if your worried about performance i wouldnt go with flowmaster. they have a tendency to lose torque.

i would go with tips, i think it looks better and sounds better IMO. i doubt mud with get stuck in a dump tho

i know nobody likes flows but the bottom line is thats what i'm getting cause its a family deal we've always had flows, soo i just need to know if its worth paying an extra 150 dollars for dual exit tips ...cause dumping = cheaper way cheaper but is it worth it or should i just spend the extra money for the tips and pipes

I added magnaflows a few months back. I wish I had installed flowmasters so I could have that mustang GT rumble. Good luck

Being in college also I know that the money matters, but even without that being the case I think flows sound much better dumped than threw tips. I had the 10 series dumped under my cab about 2 foot from the Y and it wasn't as loud as my straights turned out lightning style. Keep in mind my straights are true duals with an x-pipe and the flow was a si/do. Also with it dumped you don't have to worry about bending a tip on something or having to polish them, also you have less hangers to break.

BTW the straights IMHO sound much better than the flows and are cheaper.
