Hopefully your experience is better, keep us in the loop!
Thanks! I definitely will. We'll see how they do. Like I said, I was at Troyer's and he had them there in stock so I said what the heck. Mike personally likes the plugs so I thought I'd try em out.

He's done a lot of testing on them and gave it the thumbs up. However, trucks being different may have differing results with them. I'll be keep an eye on mine and let the group know. I drive about 500 miles a week, so by the end of next week I should have a good idea.

Brisk 3VR17YS

I Bought The Brisk 3VR17YS From Brisk USA, This Is The Plug Number They Recommended For My 2005 FX4, I'm Replacing My Plugs And Injectors Next Week.
This Is The Same Plug Number As My Brother's Brisk Plugs And He Has A 2005 Mustang GT, And His Car Runs Good.

I'm comfortable with changing them every 30-35k. Heck even after pulling mine today at 36k with the amount of carbon they did have what they would look like at 100k
DaimlerChrylser recommends 20k...

I think 30k for plugs is good.

But I've gotten a 100k out of set of stock Motorcrafts. So who am I to say. :santa:

Sorry, but no more DaimlerChrysler

Normal changing interval of most european vehicles is 30000km some are good for 45000km.
A few Toyota used to have 100000km platinum Plugs for plenty plenty Euros each. 100000mls thats 168000km and there is nothing like that in Vehicles over here. But i guess Ford knows how to make em

I deal with a salesman that has an 04 F-150 with the 5.4 3v. He has 180,000 miles on the original everything. All he has done is changed oil, filters and tires. He's nver even had it back to the shop since it was new! Truck still runs great and he's claiming 18-20 mpg on the highway. His engine is actually quieter than mine and I only have 17,000 miles.

Wonder what the difference is between the 3VR17's and the 3VR14's that I got? Different heat range? I think Mike Troyer may have recommended the 14's for me due to my modifications, however, not sure.

On another note, so far so good on my brisk plugs. Only been a couple of days, but really see no difference in performance other than being a little more perky off the line. I plan to fill up today with 93 Shell and will make note of my gas mileage with my 93 Performance Tunes. During the week I do mostly highway back and forth to work at 90 miles round trip. I keep everyone posted.
