I have a 07 darkblue xlt supercab with the silver accent strip. The truck did not come with step bars. I started looking again after reading another post and found a site that sells 4" or 5" black, chrome, aluminum step bars, or black rectangular step bars. It also sells running boards. I think I like the 4" black or chrome step bars because they would not stand out so much. Any suggestions for my model truck?

 

I like the boards better, they had a few at the dealer when I bought my truck and after looking at them side by side, I thought the black boards 'blended' in the best and also made the truck look higher. I had em take the chrome/aluminum steps off and trade with one with the black boards before I took delivery.

 

those running boards look awesome on your truck. Do you think it would blend with the silver accent on mine? I wish they offered the grey stripe on the xlts.

 

I love my Amp research retractable running boards. They are easy to install, and hide when not being used. There are a couple of pictures in my gallery (I would post the pictures, but all of the image hosting websites are blocked here at work).
