I've been trying to think of something to do with those cables. It is actually a 12V splitter coming through that I just tuck into the glove back to power the radar detector and the power inverter for the XBOX. I need to keep access to the inverter because I only like to turn it on when Im actually using the XBOX but I like the idea about the extension. I could buy one and cut of the end and hard wire it behind the dash to the 12v plug and still tuck everything away in the glove box.

I did do the power windows and locks myself a while back. I originally used a standard universal power window kit of ebay ($70) for a couple months and was not to happy with the speed or noise so I found a place online and bought the complete oem power window regulators and motors($150). The install was a breeze (just takes a patience to squeeze the assembly in the door) and the wiring is pretty straight forward. I also ordered some small dome tweeters and chiseled out part of the plastic to mount them flush into the door where the window handle used to be. It looks pretty good IMO and its actually pretty functional. The locks are also cheap and easy if your a little savvy with electronics. I originally installed the lock actuators and an alarm system myself when I first got the truck but have since had a friend at circuit city install the remote start using the same lock actuators.

Thats awesome man, its probably me! BTW, that grill and head light combination looks great.

P.S. - Heres a video of the remote start, exhaust sound, and a little bit of the head unit : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tli_AylmZsU

I hardwired my inverter straight to 12v fused power source. Then I took a small gauge wire and used it as the turn on. If you pop out your power switch and its a small wire, its probably just a 12v sense. One side is the 12v and one side is the triggger. I basically extended that to the dash board and added a rocker switch. The 12v now comes from the cig lighter and its very low current.

Xbox in the truck = kick ***.

I'd say upgrade to the 360 for cooler games but you'd probly have to get your xbox water cooled because the 360 would probly over heat in that kind of setup.

About your powder coated bed rails...where did you get them? Did they mount right over your plastic bed caps?

I think if you Must have nerf bars/running boards, you really should go with a set of N-Fabs. They'd look awesome with the bed rails you already have. I think the truck is turning out great!
