Hi-Flow cats

Can someone point me in the right direction to find some reasonably priced hi-flow cats. I am working on a new exhaust setup for the f150 right now. I will be using Flow-tech headers and they have a 3inch outlet and theres no way in hell I would want to run a 3inch exhaust on it. Would lose too much back pressure. So I am looking for a 3 to 2.5 convert then i'll run an x pipe with manual cut outs and dual 2.5 bullets dumped. All help is appreciated.
Heres the headers:

And an x-pipe with cut outs already I was considering but don't know the quality of it

I am running the Pace Setter headers on my truck and I bought high flow 3"cats from magnaflow. They slip on the headers and I used band clamps so that they could be removed for service. The muffler shop then put a piece of 3" OD pipe in the outlet then flared the 2.5" to fit inside. I am running 2.5" into a magnaflow x-pipe into a DI/DO muffler.

So just get the 3" cats then reduce it from there.

Sounds like a beast. It literaly pures like a kitten at idle but then it roars like a Lion when you are WOT. It kinda reminds me of the NASCAR races when they drive by. Just need to do the wifes truck next.....

When it was all said and done it was right around 1k. I think it was $200-250 labor to install the exhaust after the headers. I installed the headers myself, the whole thing was cheaper than a set of dyno techs thats for sure...lol

Yes I have the 5.4 and now that I have done it I know the tricks on what to do. So when I do my wifes truck it will be a piece of cake.

Here is a link to the original install thread. https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=239548. I have since found a couple of easyer ways to remove the bolts since I had to replace the exhaust gaskets in them. If I would of had a lift and a few extra tools I probably could of cut a couple hours off the install.

Well I have decided against highflow cats. I will be getting a set of Pacesetters, then converting them to 2.5 after the collector then going into an x pipe(need to decide on one) then dual 2.5 inch bullets dumped. Now help me find an X pipe!
