Changing out seats

I was looking through ebay and found a junkyard selling the front and rear leather seats for a decent price. However it was parted from a screw and I own a scab. I know the front seats would fit but would the rear ones?

Thanks

The screw fronts don't have the seat belt in them, they are mounted on the B pillar, whereas the scab have the belt integrated into the seat because there is no solid B pillar to mount them to.

The screw rear seats are 1" longer on the bottom cushion, the back rests are the same (lariat, king ranch, and fx4 luxury package screws had a fold down armrest in the back seat). The pivot point on the bottom cuhions on the back seats are in a slightly different location so you may need the floor brackets out of a screw to put them in.

If you get them, just peel the covers off the front seats and put them on your scab seats. It's not hard to do, search for ebay leather install or something similar to get directions as to how. I would not even bother trying to recover the back, just swap out the entire seat.

Sure have. Fronts need to be cut to accommodate the seatbelts. Very simple to do.

The back seat requires much more work to get them to fit. Rears need to have the foldup armrest pocket patched and the bottoms need to be taken in about 1inch because the SCrew seats are deeper than those in the SCab.

Just double and triple check that you are cutting the right side

No. The cloth covers must be taken off with this mod. These leathers covers are "take offs" from new F150's getting custom seat covers.

The entire process is simple and straight forward. Just take your time and pay attention to detail and it will come out like you paid a pro to do it.

...or you can actually just use covers. Check my gallery. I have fake leather covers that are less maintenance than leather, and they look like leather, but the install was much easier than having to take the cloth covers off first.

EDIT, I'm not sure how you'd get to my gallery though. There used to be a little camera icon thingy on the top right.

Is there anywhere I can get the front seat headrest covers, I just need one for the front seats, I don't need the seat backs, nor seat bottoms, just the headrest leather covers.
