just do a muffler swap. super cheap and will sound good. a flowmaster should give you a throaty sound, ive heard magnaflows give you that fart-can sound on a V6, but ive never heard one in person so i wouldn't know for sure...

weird i've heard and seen the complete opposite... both online and off - everyone says flowmaster on v6 sound like complete ****...
(besides those that have it ironically)

imo go magnaflow.. lifetime warranty on the muffler i got. heres mine with custom dual piping...
(sounds higher pitch due to camera location then it actually is, very throaty and deep.. and will get more throatier as the muffler breaks in.)

Thanks For the info and Video! hopefully it will come out great. Swapping mufflers is that gonna mess up my warranty at all?

My previous truck was an 01 F-150 Supercab 4.2, i switched out the muffler with a Flowmaster 40, on idle and normal acceleration it was hard to tell it was a V6, but when you stomped on it you could tell.
I say make the change.
