X-plan Q's?

How much does the X-plan take off the msrp of an 08 F150?
Sticker right about 36,000.00.

What is the difference in D-plan, X-plan?
Also X-plan works with the rebates right?...so rebates + X-plan = selling price

Thanks

not sure about a d plan but the price of an x plan differs on each truck from what they told me at the dealership i bought. every truck price is different so the x plan price will be different on each truck. Yes you get the rebates, or good financing with the x plan.

X-plan is indicative of pretty much invoice or 1-2% below.

D-plan is for dealership employees only, and varies from 1000-2800 below invoice

Z-plan is for retirees of FoMoCo and is comparable to D-Plan

A-plan is also the same as/comparable to D-Plan, if I remember correctly.

labman1014 Jan 23, 2008 10:35 PM

my sticker was $40,885 and i got it for $37,117. also, the dealer never asked for my pin number......i wonder why????

If you have an exact truck in mind, post the vin # and the dealer it's located at, and I can look it up and tell you the exact x-plan price.
And yes, you still get all available rebates with the x-plan. My truck was 35,9xx sticker, after x-plan and rebates, I paid 29,3xx

X-plan is a supplier discount, if you work for a company that supplies materials, parts, and/or subassemblies to ford then you should qualify for x-plan.

yea, we finally got our act together and used it. we bought a new 08 f150 larait 4x4 SCrew. i kept telling them i had it and all they asked if it was a friends and family pin. they never asked for the actual pin number. beats me. it saved me about $3800 off sticker and then i got the $2500 rebate on top. not bad if you ask me. thanks again.:beers:

To get X-plan pricing on my '08 Mustang GT I simply purchased 10 shares of Ford stock on e-trade and then called Ford Investor Relations who had me fill out a short form, fax it back to them, and then supplied me with an X-plan PIN.

I intend to keep my Ford shares forever just so I can get X-plan pricing whenever I need it.

Incidentally, my Mustang's MSRP was $27980, and according to the dealer order sheet:

* X-Plan = $25,982.53
* D-Plan = $25,026.58
* A/Z Plan = $24,926.58

Rebates came off my X-plan price to further reduce my cost.

It is also available if your employer is a large fleet purchaser......I think we have around 3,000 Ford vehicles in our fleet.

Don't have a exact truck as of now I have been looking around and do not see anything that is what I would want.

Here is what I am looking for....

I probably will have to order it as there is nothing close to it around here . I don't know if anybody could do a search with in 150-200 miles of Zip 55429?

I also like the Fx4, but can not find any either with the cloth buckets seats, similar to the options above, as I don't need any all the extras (leather, moon roof, two tone paint, etc..) And am not sure about the 18" or 20" tires.....

Also if i need to order I am thinking of waiting a bit for the rebates to go up to around 5,000 as right now they are only at 2,500.

Well maybe, I have a friend that might give me but he is also looking at buying a new one himself, so I will see. I will let you know if I need one. How long are they good for, if I don't buy/order right of way?

Blang Jan 24, 2008 12:16 PM

They are good for one year after being issued, although I do not like giving them out unless your are certain you will use it. I am only allowed 8 a year to give out, so if I issue someone a pin and they don't use it, I lose one of my 8. Just let me know.

blackjack8900 Jan 24, 2008 01:49 PM

I will let you know if I need one. If I get it from you I will for sure be using it.

O.k. a few more questions...

1- If I order the truck how due they apply the rebates...at time of ordering the truck or at time of delivery?
2- How long does it normally take to get after ordering?
3- I have heard that there is also sometimes rebates within X-plan pricing its self...can anyone confirm this?
4-X-plan can be applied to an ordered truck right?

Thanks again for the help

Josh

1. Which ever is better, I ordered and they told me if the deals are better when I ordered than when it comes in I get the initial deal. If things are better when it arrives I get those deals.

2. I was told 2-3 months for up here in Canada. I ordered early in November and it arrived on Dec. 27th. It is now sitting on the dealers lot for another month until my current lease expires.

Can't help you on any xplan questions.
