3. sometimes Ford will put an extra $500 bucks off for a/x/z plan purchases. They usually do it at the end of the year.

4. yes, despite what the salesman may say, it can be used on a order.

don't think all rebates apply to X-Plan!

I got my '08 with a corporate "friends and family" X-Plan PIN. Keep in mind that not ALL rebates apply with an X-Plan. I thought I'd get a $750 American Quarter Horse rebate and another $1K that applied at the time, but it turned out that only Ford "current" rebates at the time applied for X-Plan purchases (whatever that means). In my case, I got just 2,500 off when I thought I'd go $4K under invoice. Coincidentally, $3K off would have been true dealer invoice price for my truck.

Good point. The only rebates you would get are the ones shown on the fordvehicles.com incentive page. (currently $4,000 & $4,500) Most of the time you can get cash rebate or special ford financing, in addition to your x-plan discount.

Can't help you on any xplan questions.
Incorrect.

You receive whatever rebates and programs are IN EFFECT at the TIME OF PURCHASE.

I have always been told by dealership which my Mom worked at for 17 years, that you receive the rebates that are available when your vehicles invoice arrives at the dealership usually the week before your vehicle does, not when you order it. Although if they are having a hard time selling vehicles you never know what your local dealership will do.
