why are they a bad idea because I was really thinking about buying these but wanted some feedback.

The box only has .46 cubic feet per sub and the subs require at least 1 cubic feet each. So basically there is not enough airspace in that box for those subs.

I had one in my '03, and now have one in my '04. I was/am pleased with the box. I had a kenwood sub in my '03, and I now have a Kicker in my '04. I need to get a better amp but for what I need, the box sounds pretty darn good.

ok so your saying the SQ will be bad or the SPL or both and if so how bad are we talking sorry for the dumb questions I'm a Noob at this knid of stuff.

Someone else will have to answer that part. I just know that the box was too small for those woofers.
