Sounds like too much. I see nice screws and scabs at the local ford house all the time for under 16K and under 10,000 miles. In fact, there was a real nice blue scab 4x4 there the other day for the same price I paid for mine a year ago. It only had 15,000 on it.

I say you could talk him down a bit. The wheels may have cost him a lot, but that means nothing for resale.
