I just posted a side-tracked response to a thread in the 2009 forum... But it got me thinking about the seats in my truck. They have got the be the most uncomfortable seats of any vehicle that I've ever sat it. Especially when it comes to lateral support. When I take a corner, my whole upper body slides across the seat. It think it was better before I converted to the leather seats, because at least witht the cloth seats there was a little traction to keep you in place.

Does anyone else have this problem? Are there any good mods/additions that I can make to get a little more comfortable?

I have an XLT with the captains chairs and center console, and leather take-off covers. Yes I'm on the heavy side, weight about 280 lbs. But it's not the seat BOTTOM that I have issues with, it's the back/lateral part. I've compared the drivers vs passenger seat, and both seem about equal in support (or lack of), so it doesn't appear that my seat has any significant wear.

Ideas???

like a racing seat that cups around your back and shoulders. well not quite that extreme but you get my drift (no pun intended)

Ok so I can't take 3G turns but far as comfort I don't have any problems with my seats. I've done long 14 hour trips in my truck and the only thing I would perfer then is a electric lumbar. Now speaking of lateral support I bought some decked out Cadillac CST seats for my project car and those things hug you like a big fat granny.
