I had my Monster exhaust on before the mod . so i couldn't answer that correctly . But i'm sure it wouldn't help that . The exhaust did help a lot . you don;t get all that intake noise .

Mine was bone stock; no edge.. I just didn't feel like cutting this or modifying that. In my opinion that drone should not be present especially for a Banks at $363 luckily I got my money back. I will eventually get the Edge.

The reason I asked is because most complain that the Edge causes drone with some kits...

Stick with a stainless setup. I had an Airaid CAI on an 05 and 06. It was plastic and droned bad at about 1800 rpm on both trucks. My bro had one on his 05, same drone, same rpm range. Stock as well as with Edge tune. I've seen a few posts on these and seems to be all with the plastic kits. Replaced with a stainless steel setup - no more drone.

Thanks your giving me new hope now. Maybe an AFE Dry Filter setup.

What are the different stainless options? I too have been through about 3 separate intake (all plastic) and get that horrible drone.
