Edge Updates

I dont know if anyone has checked lately but I just updated mine and I was 2 firmwares behind and like 6 or 7 flashfiles or what ever behind, the newest one to me says it helps the tq converter lock up/unlock shutter at 50 IDK well see as soon as I get to the gas station to put 91 back in I went back down to 89 just because I hated the shutter in lvl 3 so why run 91 oct when im only in lvl 2

Seeing as they both use a EEF2400 model I say yes. My box and manual says for the 2004-2006 Ford F-Series 4.6 and 5.4 liter.

ok then, why is it when my step dad who has a 5.4, updates his, he will call me to let me know that they have new updates. but when i update mine, with the 4.6, it has a new version, but not the same as his. his will be like 23 and mine will be like 20 or 21. but over on the right hand side, it will have the same version that he has, but it is telling me that it want work with mine. still. i was just asking if it was the differance in the size of the motors or something else. now his is a 4x4 and mine is not.

Good question??? I also have a 4x4. I have used my Edge to program a friends 4.6 just so he could feel what it does and it worked just fine....Are both the Firmware and Calibration versions different or is it just 1 that is not the same?

I dont think there is anything wrong. I wouldnt update it unless you really wanted to, like if there was a new version out.
