butyl pad recall question.

Hey guys, sorry to bring up old news to most of you, but i've got a question about the butyl pad recall from a while back. I bought my 04 scab from a local ford dealer used back in feb 06. I just read about this butyl pad today and low and behold there is one on my truck still. Do you think I will have any problems with ford getting this taken care of, being the truck is 4 years old and the recall at least two? I kind of feel like this should have been taken care of by the dealership when the first owner traded it in. I have no signs of paint bubbles or trouble, but I really don't want to take the chance.

If I remember correctly, that recall didn't affect every '04 F150. You can have the dealer run the VIN to see if yours needs to have it done. You can also check the Ford website, they should have a link where you can enter your VIN to check for recalls that affect your truck.
