Camburg UCA backspacing question

OK guys, I just got some Camburg UCA's. I was reading around here and saw that you cannot have a wheel with more than 5" backspacing to run them. I have 5.5" backspacing. My question is will .5" really make a difference between being able to run them or not?

yes, a HUGE difference. you will be rubbing pretty darn bad, depending on tires. I rmemeber talking with them before i bought my wheels and the ones i wanted were 5.02" of backspacing. the guys there said not to do it because they would rub pretty bad and just wouldn't work. I chose to find a wheel that had less the 5" and now I am running 4.75" BS. Sorry man. Either try and sell the rims and buy some new ones... or sell the UCA. If you sell the UCA I would gladly buy em from ya! Still haven't gotten around to placing my order. Go make a couple more posts so i can PM you. Or email me at Euroauto@sonic.net good luck
