Repressurizing Fuel Line

I almost forgot to ask this... but I need to know how to correctly repressurize the fuel lines according the service manual after changing the fuel filter.

I was thinking of turning the key 3 times to pressurize the fuel lines before I start the truck. Is this enough? Or should I do it more?

Obviously I haven't driven my truck since I did the fuel filter earlier... but it got me wondering.

When I changed the fuel filter, I didn't drive the truck for about 2 weeks, and I haven't started it since.

I just don't want any surprises when I go to start it... lol

Cycle the key on and off a few times and you should be good to go.

Turn the key on without starting the truck. Leave the key in the on position for about 3-4 seconds and then start it up.

Once the key is turned on, the fuel pump starts running.

Thanks for all the responses... I did it 5 times, on the 5th, I could hear no more air going through the fuel lines.

Started right up with no problems.
