Hey guys, I am newbie here . I just bought a used 06 FX4 Supercrew and found a couple weird things.

#1 My fog lights are the round ones like on the Lariat's and such, all the FX4's I see have the square ones. I have no switch to turn them on. On the dial for my headlights there is a small fog light logo with an arrow pointing down but there is no switches below it.

#2 My command start won't work. I found the switch under the dash but when I press it it still doesn't work. Do you have to hold the button down with the truck running or some trick like that? I would just take it to the dealer but its holiday season. Thanks Guys:santa:

In 2004 and 2005 The trucks came with rectangle foglights, in 2006 to present they were round...yours is a 2006. trim level has nothing to do with it. To turn them on pull out your headlight switch when parking lights or headlights are on, and the foglights will turn on.

 

I think only 04-05 had the square fog lights. When you turn your headlights or parking lights on pull the switch out this will turn the fogs on
