front f150 emblem problem....

My '06's f150 blue oval emblem on my grill is starting to delaminate...called the "stealership" and they said to come by and they'd check it out...maybe still "covered"....any of you had this problem????

What do you mean "delaminate?"

To answer your question, no.

I've had problems with the fender badges but never the front or, near identical, rear badge.

On my truck, the black in the lettering "F150" has all but come off on the fenders. Most likely from high pressure car washes. wonder if that is covered?

The emblems are notorious for doing this. It's really bad on the F-250's and 350's also (2004+).

Happened to mine on my 06, replaced under warranty without a problem. It was really looking rough too after only a year

My 06 did exactly the same thing and was replaced under warranty. Water had somehow gotten between the clear lens and the blue oval underneath.

It's been raining a little lately and I have the same issue with the front emblem, I noticed right away. I called the stealer and they said it is covered only if under 36K miles or 3 years, whatever comes first. Since, I have 50K it looks like they cant help. I have the extended warranty as well. Useless, as I have never had my truck in for repair. I'll never buy that thing again.

Strange...you'd think the one thing they'd make the best on the truck would be their logo.
