2007 F-150 Problems! Please Help!
My '05 has done this a few times - but almost always cranks and runs just fine after the second attempt. Mine is affected by the fuel injector issue, however, and I've already replaced one so it may/may not be the same issue.

yes mine almost always starts on the second key turn
Mine is an 06 and it does the same thing as well. (number 1 issue). Aggrivating as hell, sometimes 2 or 3 times in a week then maybe not at all for 2 months. Is this recall for 06's as well?
Yeah I have problem #1 on occasion too, I think that the "Low oil pressure" message is normal, as long as it is just on momentarily. Mine says that for a split second everytime I start the truck, I just figure that it must be normal since the truck starts fine 99% of the time and the oil pressure gauge is fine.
As for problem #2, I agree with the others just try to get it on film or something, if the dealer still wont help then find a different one.

My '99 and '07 have NEVER had a starting issue. It's kind of funny... it sounds like the engine begins to fire like 1/4 of a second after the starter engages. It's cool.
Then again I have the 4.2l v6.

I would say my Expedition has trouble starting 40% of the time when it does not start on the first try (yes I get that felling to like every body is staring at you when they hear your car cranking and not starting

Yea I was going to post a thread the other day but did not get around to it, but I had a weird problem when I was driving yesterday kind of like yours. I was coming to a stop after driving down a road at about 45 mph and as I was braking and maybe slowing to 10mph, the truck just shut off and low oil pressure light showed up. I was thinking what the hell just happened, and there were cars behind me so I turned the key off and put the truck in park and tried to start it again. It started right back up and the oil pressure said it was ok. Truck ran fine rest of the trip and back home. Has anyone ever had this happen ?
I think it might be cause I changed tunes from 87 Perf. to 93 Perf. with my Troyer tuning and it was still adapting to my driving style, but when I have changed tunes before for towing it did not do this. I dunno, it has not repeated yet so I hope its just a freak thing.

Thanks for the replies everyone,
so it seems that for issue #1, I am **** out of luck because it happens to lots of people and it just some sort of defect.
and for issue #2, best I can do is get it inspected during my next oil change (which I will be doing soon anyways) and if no result, then just video tape next time it happens.
and so nobody seems to know for sure if having 26's will void my warranty? Nobody has experience with this? I know some of you said they have to prove it, and it sounds like BS to me that a bigger wheel could blow a transmission or other powertrain component, so hopefully I'm okay in that regard.
thanks again, Merry Christmas.

as for yamaha yz250, I have no clue bud, don't know anything about tuning. But seems like the same type of freak accident BS that I have been putting up with in a different way - either way I would get it checked out.

yeah that makes sense, good call, thanks
