Softopper?

Anyone running one of these canvas truck toppers? I ran a Can-Bak on my 2001 F-250, and thought it was great. The Sotopper seems to take the designe to a new and better level, and isa bit cheeper as well. I'm looking for a review.
Thanks,
Ken

You mean a soft toneau cover? If so there are a bunch that are good and price range from 150 to 400. Truxedo and Access are good brands. Have experience with both.

Nope, it ia product specifically called "Softopper." I'd attach a link, but I'm not computer savvy enough. Google it. It's a pretty innovative product.

Like I said, I ran with the competiton's product, th Can-Bak for 4 years and it held up nicely. Great for road trips and camping when you want to keep your gear out of site and safe from the weather. Pretty easy on and off.

What I really like about the softopper is the way it folds up. Thta looks pretty slick.

Thanks again.

Ken

Wow thats about as ugly an accessory as I have ever seen. Just get a roll up tonneau or a topper. This looks like the worst of both worlds.

I actually think it looks pretty cool...utilitarian, if you will. I would not want it on there all the time, but it sure would come in handy when I wanted to haul something and it was raining. The military uses a lot of this type of top.

They are very practical. I liked the look of the Can-Bak I had on my 250...kind of gave it a "deuce and a half" look. Best part was i could install it and uninstall it all by myself in about 1/2 hour. This softopper looks like it would go on and off even quicker. Most times I'd probably just keep it rolled up along the cab side of the bed. But for road trips when I'm hauling the dogs and luggage, it would keep everything safe and dry.
