guy said they is about a 1/4 of clearance but with the side lugs he's afraid that if i hit a pothole while turning or any bumps that the lugs may catch the control arm....im pissed....idk what my options are here....he says height wise....35" they were fine and the same width would probably work if i had no side lugs...what should i do? i know quite a few of you are running these in 33" so how is that possible?

I tried to tell you about this in an earlier thread I believe it was in I finally have a picture gallery thread under the 04plus forum. It was about this size tire on a 20 inch o.e.m. rim. I also have a 20 inch o.e.m. rim with a 2 inch leveling kit and these size tires would not fit. Also, if you will look under some of 07screw threads he had the same issue. I went with the 285/65/20 BFG and they fit perfect with zero rubbing. The only thing is that BFG is the only tire company that sells this size tire.Good luck,I hope you get it resolved.Originally Posted by K1NGoftheRanch

Is there any way you can say that someone from the Toyo said they would fit, and now the installer says that they won't. Maybe you could work out a shipping deal then.
well its not this places fault...so they wont pay for shipping since it wasn't there mistake...and i cant blame them there...i did all the searching and question asking i could do and everyone said they should fit with only some rubbing at full lock....they may fit but not safely and i would rather my truck be safe especially with my family in it. if you look at my post histroy youll see that i posted like 10 topics on tire sizing but...what can you do. guess ill have to bite the bullet and send em back and cut my losses

look into getting the wheel spacer! they make a 1/4" wheel spacer for our trucks. That will push your wheel out a little farther. You may have to do some trimming on your front valance but at least the tires would work ! Just another idea.
who makes the spacer do you know? thats a good idea...i would really like to use these tires if possible...thanks

I want to get them just to push out the front wheels a little.

alot of ppl were complaining about shaking after a wheel spacer...idk if its worth trying for that much money plus having to pay to try and mount my tires again...idk maybe ill just send the tires back and get some more of tattoos with the money i save
