I will be doing exhaust on my truck after the holidays (waiting to see if anyone gets me the mufflers off my Xmas list). I was wondering should I do the exhaust out the back or off to the side? Input would be great.

Go with a side exit before the rear tire. Im on my third exhaust setup and I like this one the best. Magnaflow has some of the nicest tips out there. I've gotten all of mine from here: http://www.a-1parts.com/performance_...xhaust_tip.cfm

Once I get enough money I'm changing my exhaust yet again. Im keeping the side exit before the rear tire, but im changing out the cats, muffler, tips, and pipes (mandrel bent). http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...=Trucks&id=956

Im looking into getting the magnaflow tips powdercoated gunmetal black as well. GOOD LUCK!

Before the tire, is a look you don't see much. Anyone else?

Im not sure if its the kit. They are 40 series original flows. A local shop installed everything. Im not sure if its their custom setup or the kit. probably the kit tho. they install it on all the custom dealer trucks. so its pretty standard
