Question 3rd Brake light leak. Please help.

I have been reading and searching for a fix. I got the leak and Ive read that on 04's you can get a new gasket to fix the leak? I just pulled off the light itself and it looks like it was just siliconed in place? Anyone got an idea of what i should??

I just bought a replacement light.

It comes with a super-duper gasket already glued in place. Until it arrived I just used some "press in place" rope caulk. It probably would have worked all winter, but I don't know what the summer heat would have done. RTV will work but it makes it harder to change bulbs.

No need in changing bulbs, just did. So I guess I'm gonna go with RTV and get it sealed up really good.
