Question Hard Bed cover 5.5 Style side

I have a 2004 F 150 supercab with the 5.5 styleside bed. Isn't the 5.5 bed the same on the Crew cab? Isn't a 5.5 styleside bed from the same year the same bed? I'm buying a hard fiberglass cover and see so many used ones from a crew cab. Thanks.

Hmmm, if you have a 2004 Super cab your bed should be at least 6.5'. The 5.5' option barely came out this year for the Supercab. SuperCrews for 2004 were only available with the 5.5' bed, now you can get the 6.5' bed with a 2007+ Supercrew.

Do you have any pics?

I tried building a 08 F-150 on Fords site yesterday and the only bed option for the SuperCrew was a 6.5' bed...sucks, because I think the 5.5' bed is perfectly proportioned

To answer your question, the 5.5 bed on the crew is the same as the 5.5 bed that came on the SuperCab. I had an 04 Supercab FX4 with the 5.5 bed, so I know they exist. You will be fine.

Second step is to select your bed length. It defaults to 6.5 now. Once you go 6.5 on a crew, you wont go back.

Its the same. Make certain you have the 5.5 bed. I saw a 5.5 scab friday. I had never seen one on the road before.

I'll try it again...thanks

naw, I'll just keep with the 5.5' beds...it's still 8' with the tailgate down and I don't need an extra 1' of lenght for nothing

I have a 2004 Supercab Lariat with the 5.5' bed so I know they made them.
I have a Leer fiberglass toneau cover on it with the bedrug liner. Makes for
a nice big trunk.
