AS leveling kit

Those of you that installed these did you have any issues trying to get the lower shock bolt lined up with the holes in the lower a-arm? I put a 2" on a couple of months ago and it was a bear getting that lower bolt back through the holes. I'm going to take the spring assembly back out this week and double check the nuts that hold the AS in place, I have some clunking / rattling going on.

Thanks

2.5" Autospring here. The only trouble I had was getting the strut assembly around the drive shaft and into position. That last half inch was a real bear....

No problems here with the 2". I just got it lined up as best as I could by eye, then used a rubber mallet to "help" it fit in

I had to use a screw driver to line up the holes and then hammer the bolt through. Since I will be taking it off again I thought I'd check to what other people have experienced.

Tell me about it. The drivers side took me for ever but the passenger side slide right in.

And check this out just out of curiosity I called 4 wheel parts up here in town to see how much they would charge to do this for me and the said $800
I tried my best not to laugh at the guy. I told him it should not take more than a couple of hours and his response was alot of the cost is for a cam kit so it can be aligned. Then I mentioned it aligned just fine before without a kit (with the AS). He said wait look at the tires after a few thousand miles, cause the new body styles must have a camber kit to be aligned. This is when I quit arguing and said thanks but no thanks. Don't think I'll ever be taking my truck there!

I've put mine on twice and taken it off once, so it only takes about 30 minutes per side now. I have a 2wd and it's extremely easy. I've also found if you turn the steering wheel the opposite direction of the side you're on, it gives a lot of room. Or maybe it's the other way around? I don't know.

I haven't thought of that, I'll give that a shot.
