AC Problems
During the summer my AC was good but there were a couple times when it wasn't cold and that was during the evening but went back to normal operation the next day. Recently I turned on my AC and was not cold again. After several attempts on different days it was still not cold. What could it be?

Agree that a good start would be to check the freon level.
Another consider may be if you're in an area of high humidity - a lot of the cooling is consumed condensing water.
Also, could have a control damper problem, in that all the airflow is not being directed across the evaporator coil.
If everything checks out, consider using the Max A/C feature. The R134 systems just don't seem to have the ability to freeze one out like the old R12 systems, but they should still be designed to be adequate.

Mine had the some problem last year. took it to the dealer to check the hoses and they were all fine. So they replaced the front controls and said it would be $1000. Had 43000 mils so no warranty . Went to pick it up and they replaced it and charged me $40,and charged the warranty that I did not have.

goodwood- just to verify - when it shuts down, is it just the cooling, or does the fan go off also. If the fan, then may have a head unit problem.

When it shuts down, the whole thing shutssdown, the display, cooling, fan, everything. It'll be on like 64 degrees and when I turn it back on it'll be on 78 degrees.

Well I had my battery replaced yesterday so it was out for at least 10 minutes. Hopefully I won't have anymore problems. I'll post if the problem reoccurs.
