Bi-Xenon HID Issues!!!!

Well i bought a kit... the kit works well. There really is a high and low beam.

However my ISSUE i am having is when i turn the fogs on in regular Low beam position the highs turn on and fogs turn off.

Also on top of that if i turn the fogs on alone, my lows and fogs turn on but when i switch it to just low beam alone it goes to highs again....

Im not sure wtf is goin on here.. maybe i have a wire placed in the wrong spot for the harness. but even when i switch them it does it.. lol (is it possible to have ground in wrong place?)

Any one have any help to lend.....

it is possible to ground in teh wrong place.... if you have the thing grounded, for lack of a better word, odd, it could cause the relays to kick differently causing your problems... what i would do is just go back over the wiring really close... worse case scenario... take em out and reinstall....

Hmm...

Your kit... did it come with a wiring harness and such that you wired in off of 'ONE' of your stock H13 plugs? From there, you run that relay harness over to the other side, plug into the other ballast and from the ballast to the bulb?

My kit was slated to go on this weekend... I'll be watching this closely.

BTW, which ebayer' did you buy from?

Yes it uses a relay but, i found it real odd to only use one H13 connection to control both healights. As you explained... I but it from HID4u is the ebay seller..

Im wondering if i have my ground for the harness in the wrong spot..

its cheaper for them to make it with just one connector, and you really dont need both if it has a relay

if you can scan your instructions i could probably help you a little better

but if you want to be 100% sure about your ground then bolt it to the green bolt on the fenders, passengerside is right above the washer fluid driverside is right above the hole in the fender for the stock intake
ill try to catch you on aim later

Good advice, az. That's where I plan to ground on both sides for mine. We'll see how it goes -- I still don't know which pin controls what on my kit though.

I have a white, a blue, and an orangish-red wire in a male plug that doesn't come close to matching with the H13 plug. I've been trying to communicate in a dialect that is similar to what some may call 'Chinglish' with my ebay seller. It's been an uphill battle -- especially because she doesn't seem to check her email but every third day.

Needless to say, I'm frustrated.

What color are the wires on the MALE plug that goes to the H13 plug?

i have the same problem with my HID kit. when i turn my fogs on my brights go on as well as my fogs. its just a weird little glitch. doesnt really bother me im trying to delete my fogs any way and go with some after market ones. but it would be great to figure it out. iv reinstalled them twice and checked as connections and fuses. no burnt wires and no blown fuses. nothing. i got my kit from xenon eyes and so far they havent emailed me back. oh well
