16inches front and rear is a work of art. I love my new truck I just need to get it running again, my rear super limited slip wil be done today and then I just need to finish the battery tray for the rear and its good to go again.


I am also looking to go 4.0 by the feb races

You are such a luck SOB. I am suprised I am the only one to bring tis up, but that Van had about all it could stand lugging around those trucks and trialer. Right?

WOW, quite modified! But a 4.0 v6, I'm sure it's sufficient but is it really enough? I like the idea of the old 5.0 v8's in there, those things are workhorses.

5.0 are the king of kings but they take a lot of work to put in. Ive read up on it and they figure 50 to 60 hours to do the swap. This is my first truck mildly built. If I get real serious about racing Ill build a truck from the ground up around a 5.0 but for what I have I think its to much work.

seeing that it's goin in the back, would it really be that much harder to put 5.0 compared to a 4.0?
