***High Flow Cats***

Does anyone have any sound clips of them on an 04+?

I think I'm gonna install my dual Flowmasters again, and was wondering if HFC's will give me a deeper rumble?

I am currently running True Dual Straight Pipes With an H and two 4" Tips dumped before the axle.

On another note,
Every how often do you have to replace cats? I was told 100,000 miles.

Every how often do you have to replace the Factory Cats?

Would Hi-Flow Cats, and my old dual Flowmasters have a deep rumble? As deep as my straights?

Doubtful. The closest muffler I have found that compares to the sound of straight pipes would be the SLP Loud mouths. You aren't going to get the raspy deep sound of straight pipes out of a slowmaster.

Well, those basically are straight pipes. The reason I ask was that I want more of a rumble and not so much raspy, I do love the sound of my straights but just wanted to try something new.

Once, again though main question here.......

Every how many miles do you have to change your cats?

Cats should last at least 100K.

You dont have to change your cats unless they go bad. There not like air filters or oil that needs replacing after certain miles or time frame.

Look into Dynomax Bullets man. Thats what I have and love them. The sound is great and you get performance. There is no raspy too it. Its more of a loud nascar roar. Thump has true dual bullets with an H pipe. See if he will post a clip.

I agree! I've got 2.5" tubing with a H Pipe into two Dynomax bullets, I couldn't be happier. Pat and Jwool talked me into it too ..

Nothing is going to be as loud as straight pipes though. I will say the Dynomax mufflers sound really good, real deep.
