Well I got T-boned yesterday in the parking lot at school. Some dumb girl who just got her drivers license wasn't paying attention and blindsided me when I was half way into a parking spot. Here's some pics. Started a thread in GD about it.... She isn't admitting that it was her fault its a big mess..

That sucks I've been hit down there a couple times.

 

Yeah...my son and I joke all the time about their ***** getting in the way when females drive. It makes my wife and daughter mad.

 

almost happend to me a couple days ago... the damn size of the parking spaces is for compact cars and everybody that parks beside me parks right on the damn line so i have to pull in then back up and pull in again to get straight so i was backing up fixing to pull back in and a car comes flying up and almost nails me


and people drive like damn idiots in the parking lot too so that don't help one bit either

 

Long story.. Theres a whole big post in GD I started a thread on it. But they're not taking responsibility for it. So i'm not sure how this one is gonna end up...

 

Happened to me....Except I got hit and its automatically my fault, seeing as I was in reverse...

That's for dam sure! It seems like at this pace Woman are gonna start being born with phones evolved into their ears!!

A buddy of mine was side swiped in his jeep about a year ago, he got out to talk to the girl, and she was still on the phone! After the accident!!

Sorry to hear about your truck, hope things get straightened out in your favor. I feel it's only a matter of time for me because there's such a mix of cultures and driving styles here in Hawaii. That and the parking spaces are so tiny, it's almost like they never thought that people would ever have more than little Honda or Toyota cars.

 

This could be a problem for you, since in most cases, the person pulling into or out of a parking spot is considered at fault in accidents.

 

Sorry to hear about your truck. I'm surprised this doesn't happen more around here. The parking lots at the malls and shopping centers are so full, people line up at the cross walks to "stalk" a exiting shopper and then take the parking spot they vacate as they are leaving.
