What kind of camera do you have? I've got a Nikon D40X with a wide angle lense, pretty nice.
Nikon D80 of course...only camera worth having.

Looks good! I would paint the surround white though. I think it'd look a lot better. JMHO.

another hand for the honeycomb grill, not painted white. I think it looked great the way it was. White may be a little weird. I wonder how a roush grill would look on your truck.. Prob would be nice. I just think the fx2 grill contrasts the clean look of the rest of the truck. Still love the truck though, whatever you do, dont get HD lights! .

Seriously.

How well does the surround hold the grill w/o the tabs?? I bought the same grill of ebay...I just don't see how it can be held on w/o the tabs.

If I had looked at if more and thought about it more I wouldn't have bought it...shame too, because the grey color of the grill matches the grey lower accent color of the truck...would have looked nice.

Did you break/cut off the tabs on the original grill to get it off??

Not sure if I want to cut tabs off...just in case it doesn't hold together as well as I'd like..

Thanks,
Craig

No, didn't break the tabs on the stocker. As for the FX2 grill, all the tabs are still there except one that was broken off. The surround is what olds the grille in place, not vise versa. It is just as solid as the honeycomb was but a PITA to get off.

Thanks...the one I bought appears to have all the tabs broken or cut off...the add did say some were broken or cut, I guess it's buyer beware.

I can see it's a PITA to take off the original, don't know if it's worth it...I may look into getting new set-up and have it painted...that way I won't dork anything else up trying to get it apart..

Thanks,
Craig

So the grille, you just left it as the flat black color? Hard to tell from the pics.

Damn pimp!! I didn't think my comment would have set off a poll on your truck!!
It looks killer as is, nice and clean..

I was thinking about that extra honeycomb grill though...
Try to see this, how about having it airbrushed with an American flag?
OR?
Nothing gawdy but still good looking and simple.

I don't think it's the camera bro (Although that first pic is waaayyy clean)
That grill just looks right for the truck in my opinion, but that's all I have is a opinion.
Looks killer for only being out for what 35 days?
