Roush Off Road exhaust installed

I got my Roush exhaust I ordered from Mike Roth at Woodhouse auto delivered on Wednesday. I installed it Thursday morning. I took off the stock system with the maggie I had welded in off in one piece. The rear of the truck was on jackstands. Pretty easy to come off.

The install was a snap. It's a bolt up system, no cutting or welding is needed. The only tools I used was a 15 deep well socket, 3/8 ratchet, 13/16 wrench and a small crescent wrench. The instructions with the kit are easy to understand. The hardest part was getting the hangers into the stock rubber insulators, I found a C clamp worked just fine.

The sound is amazing. Not too loud at cruising speed, the more foot you put in it the louder it gets.

More pics in my gallery.

Sound clip.

I wasn't paying attention, maybe 3500? It sounds good through the entire RPM range though.

I've heard th Roush OR in person a few times and I'm sure that clip doesn't do it justice.

Nothing sounds as sweet on these late model trucks as the Roush OR.

Congratulations.

I think it's only for a scab with a 6.5 bed or screw with a 5.5 bed. I don't know. It might.

Maybe someone needs to swap some measurements from the stock Y pipe to the rear axle.

There looks like an extra piece of piping in the stock system that compensates for the extra cab space on my exhaust that hooks into the Roush, if you understand what I mean. Yours wouldn't have this extension piece.

I would of gone Roush, if I didn't do a custom system. Sounds pretty good man.

Thanks, guys. You know, I was worried my wife was going to think it was too loud. She said it sounded great.

i got pulled over for it in my state anyways (NY) if you get an exhaust ticket you just have to have an inspection station sign a paper saying its fine and the ticket gets tossed....as for cost...i dont remember

Cost was $430 plus shipping. Well worth it for a complete system made from 304 stainless (no rust, ever) and is a complete bolt on system.
